It's Polish Pickup time! After many months of voting, the theme is finally books. As an English professor, I'm down with this theme. Although, it's not really inspired by classics, so honestly, I haven't heard of many of the books. But Alter Ego was inspired by Shakespeare! I have read so much Shakespeare in my time, as it's important in the canon of literature. A Midsummer Night's Dream is one of Shakespeare's most revered comedies, so let's get to it!

Midsummer Night's Dream: 2 coats. This is a steely grey shimmer polish. Jen at My Nail Polish Obsession said this reminded her of antique films, and I just cannot get that out of my head. It's so right! It's a unique grey. It's almost blue at certain angles. The dreamy quality is totally here!

Also available this month from Alter Ego is bath crumbles! Have you ever tried to break a bath bomb before? It's a freaking mess. But I find I don't always need the entire bath bomb. So these are basically crumbles of a bath bomb, but they aren't fine like ash. They sort of remind me of feta cheese! Haha! This is an orange essential oil scent and it smells wonderful, just like freshly squeezed orange juice!

I have no time in my life right now to even just enjoy a bath, how sad. I did have time for a pedi bath though! I used a small amount in my scoop, and put it into the tub as the faucet was going. It didn't bubble like crazy, so if I had a bath, I would add a bubble bar to it. It was definitely bubbly though. My feet smelled great and it was relaxing. They were super smooth too!
