Singer and actor Bae Suzy's legal representative said he acknowledged moral responsibility for the defamation claim of One Picture Studios, which was wrongly pointed out that he sexually harassed YouTuber Yang Yewon and forced him to shoot exposure.
The Seoul Southern District Court held the first defense date of the damages lawsuit filed by One Picture Studios against Bae Suzy and the National and Cheong Wa Dae Petition Post publishers. The court was attended by one-size-fits-all lawyers and Bae Suzy's lawyers.
"We have not been able to review Adjust because we are legally judging that Bae Suzy has acted illegally in this act," said Bae Suzy, a lawyer who attended the court.
"I did not mean to acknowledge the legal responsibility for apologizing to One Picture Studios," he said. "Of course, I have a moral responsibility for One Picture Studios, but I think Adjust and compensation are other dimensions."
The lawyer also said, "I will talk to Bae Suzy and review Adjust."
One Picture Studios filed a lawsuit against two publishers, Bae Suzy and the state, who posted a Petition post on the Blue House Petition bulletin board, saying, "Studios' honor has been lost," in June.
The lawsuit began with a video released by Yang Yewon directly via the video site YouTube. Yang Yewon posted an article and video titled "I am a victim of sex crimes" on his SNS on May 17, 2015 and applied for a fitting model to Studios near Hapjeong Station in July 2015, and 20 men were sexually harassed, sexually harassed and forced to take photos. Through the investigation, the perpetrator A was indicted and handed over to the trial.
Two people who posted Petition articles at the time wrote an article titled "Hongdae One Picture Illegal Nude Shooting" on May 17 and expressed their intention to support Yang Yewon. Since then, Bae Suzy has expressed his intention to agree with this Petition article and introduced the article to his Instagram story. Shortly after Bae Suzy agreed to the Petition article, the number of Petition conspirators exceeded 10,000 to 170,000 in two days, collecting a lot of topics.
However, the one-spicture studios published in the Petition article were found to have nothing to do with the Yang Yewon case, and one-spicture studios filed lawsuits against two publishers, Bae Suzy and the state.
