Fairfax,Ca

Here is one of the Fairfax community folk. This is Gary Frutkoff. He used to come by the studio and ask questions about the movie business. Fast forward today and he is a big time production designer in Hollywood.



I, like alot of artists, enjoy hanging out at restaurants and cafe's and drawing people. This took place a while back in Fairfax Ca, at Pucci's Restaurant which is no longer there. Pucci's was the place to be , to meet the colorful townfolk of Fairfax. Having had my studio on Bolinas Ave in Fairfax for about 2 years , I can safely say it is stuck in the Woodstock 60's. This is Pat. a fixture around town. You can see I draw a little different with a thick pen. I like the freedom and commitment of ink. I just let her rip and have fun. The mistakes are part of the charm and curse of ink.
